Default Any benefit to using trans cooler on totally stock 04 GTO with 100-150 shot?

Doing NX wet kit install now on new 04 GTO. I understand these have the 4L65E, which is supposedly slightly stronger than the 4L60E. I am using a single nozzle wet kit on a totally stock GTO, and will use 100 shot, maybe a 150 shot. I will use the new MSD digital window switch and set it to shut off the nitrous just before (100 rpm) the shift, and will leave torque management intact to help save the tranny. Since I am not changing the converter now, would a trany cooler be needed or not?

Thanks,

SDB

Needed, no. But, a tranny cooler can never hurt.

I'd monitor your temps. You'll see some temp increase from the extra power during the spray.

Any time you lower your trans temps thats a good thing mainly for extended tranny life. You dont want to get it too cool though, im not sure how cold it gets in Ft.Wayne, IN.
