Default Transgo + EC³ = damage?

I put a Transgo kit in my 99 NBS Z71 a while back. The kit's set up exactly like my 95 Impala SS, but the 1-2 shift is MUCH harsher than the SS.

I am finding that this may be due to my truck having EC³ modulation on the TCC, where the SS does not. I have 2 questions:

- What's the best way to address this problem? I doubt I could figure out which valves & old springs were in the TCC valve bore.

- Have I damaged the tranny by running it this way for a while?

Thx- Trace

Default

There is one difference to the SS I just remembered... The SS has 1 washer in the 1-2 accumulator, and the truck has none. I started out with 1 in the truck, but went to 0 in short order.

TIA for any help - Trace
