I have the SS3600 and I love it. Its great on the street. It acts like a 3200 unitll you get into it and then it screams. I have also dropped 6 tenths at the track with the converter being my only different mod. That was coming out of the hole at 3/4 pedal b/c of traction issuse with the BFG drags

It does feel tight (to me at least) I mean if I want to putt around town I can do it w/o going above 2000-2300 rpm's no problem and no, I did not do a shift kit with it.

What tires do you run on the street? Want this tq but do not want to run on drag radials on the street. I have C5 vette with 3.42's. Thanks

I don't think you can go wrong with the SS Series of Converters. I just bought a SS4000 and can't wait until it gets here. I was looking at the SS3600 but, wanted a little more.

I run G-force KDW's. 275/40/17's I mean, I can easily kick it sideways from 30, and spin em a bit at 50 as well..just watch it and you will be fine. The BFG drags dont help any, I tried that already.....all they do is leave better marks from a 30 punch

I can relate because i run the SS3800, and it feels nice and tight around town. I also love how quick it locks up compared to other converters. For sure the best mod ever done to my car. Oh yeah, I'm running 12.3s without headers, intake, cam, gears, or anything. Just simple bolt-ons, exhaust, and shift kit.

Don, I think it would be perfect for ya. That or the SS3800. I liked it alot on the street. Gave me .4 at the strip. The one I had is now in Aaron's car. Shoot him a PM. I think he's pleased so far. When do you get back?

What's wrong with you? Why did you even get a stall?
