Looking for opinions on Art Carr Trannys Anyone running Art Carr 4l60e trannys? I would like to hear your opinion of them. And if you are running nitrous on top of a modified engine, even better.

I ran 3 of em.......each one lasted about 1000 miles........each time something else broke.........drum, sprag, clutch pack.........each time, they sent me a new tranny, but since they were in TX and I am in MD, that amounted to 3-4 weeks of downtime each time it broke........If you are local to them, you may want to try(thier customer service was excellent each time) but 2 years ago when I was running thier tranny the product itself still had a long way to go......
