Default Rebuild or shift kit???

I got a 98 T/A with 103k miles and im looking to put in a shift kit but im wondering if its safe at that milage. If not does anyone sell a combo package of shift kit and overhaul kit.

haha jk id honestly give it to a shop to do. ive never really heard of an overhaul kit for it, although im sure there is one, however transmissions arent the thing to play around with. id take it out of the car and bring it somewhere personally. speed inc can do a stage one rebuild for quite cheap. if you are just looking for a STOCK strength trans with lower miles, call a junk yard, i got a 4l60e out of a junk yard once, it NEVER gave me probs. speedautomotive.com or tacreationsusa.com are fbody junk yards.

around 100k was when my 2-3 clutch crapped out and i had to have a rebuild.

I think a rebuild is a good idea before getting the shift kit....

an overhaul kit is not that expensive. so it's better to to do the overhaul.
