Not recommended the case just cant handle it, it would work for a few passes then the trans would crap out.

Who built you a $6000 4L60E?

If your going to spend that kind of money get a TH400 with a Gear Vendors overdrive kit and be done with it.

Sounds to me like you got your *** RIPPED!!!!! I mean like stuck a football in yer ****! My FLP is awesome but there isn't but sooooo much an 4l60E will hold and its not gunna hold a transbrake. Maybe if you had a stock car and just spray it might last a little longer.

Man you got raped on that. There are only so many things you can upgrade on 4L60e and none of them cost that much. I could have done 4 of those trannies for that price. It won't hold a trans brake, and it won't hold a lot of power for a prolonged period either. I am doing a 4L80e and it is much beefier.

Thats twice as much as my Rossler costs
I can get a custom 4l80E with a transbrake and a converter for less than that

for $6k you'd think it would come with a trans brake....whether it can handle it or not. is the case gold plated?
