Default Anyone here run their TH350/TH400 in drive?

I run a TH350 with an automatic valvebody and manually shift it at the track. I was wondering if there is enough adjustment on the vacuum modulator to be able to run it in drive without shifting too early or banging out. Any info on this would be appreciated.

Have you checked into an air or solonoid shifter? many bracket racers will run a manual valve body 350/400 and have a rpm activated box that will physically shift the shifter for you, great for consistancy but it might not be a practical solution.

The t-350 (and t-400) should never be raced in drive. The line pressure is MUCH less this way and will eventually lead to tranny failure. (The t-400 has a whole lot more line pressure than a t-350). But in either case, you should manually shift when racing.
