Default vid. car on dyno..issues?

this is my car on the dyno..we couldnt get a good pull with it. it kept down shifting or something. they had the converter set to lock at 20 mph in 3rd so it would stay locked...did no good, i though that the guy dyno'ing the car was leaving it in OD or something...now that i look at the tape, im not sure what was going on. he had it at 75 mph before he mashed it to the floor.. what is ya'll's take on this?

HERE IS THE VID

What were they using to lock the converter? HPTuners has an option where you can select what gear you want on the scanner in real time. If the 3rd gear wasn't locked in, and depending on your setup, it could have done what it is suppose to do ... downshift. What are you mods (namely converter)? You have a 4L60E correct? How high are your shift points and rev limiter?

Couldn't download the video ... way to big to download here at work.

Did you get the converter up to the flash point(3500rpms) in third before you floored it in D?

If your not selecting the gear in realtime then you have to go wot above your 3-2 shift point. ex, if your 3-2 wot downshift goes up to 70mph, you can't go wot untill your above 70mph on the dyno.

Also I'm not sure the ssf3500 lockup clutch will hold. Might have to run unlocked.

I thought you could only lock up a converter with a TechII???

Also I have heard many times that TCI converters dont like to be locked up.
