Default converter decision?

own an 04 C5 A4 3.15 rear geared vette. current mods, donaldson,VHP thermostat and fan controller, dynatech ss longtubes with cats, magnaflow ss exhaust, crane dual billet roller chain, crane 1.8 rocker kit, PP 2.055 ls6 style heads 64 cc, VHP/Crane Boss II cam 216/224 .591 lift w/ 1.8 rockers, crane dual spring kit, ATI 10%underdrive damper. Not a DD. Should i go with yank stealth 3000 or ss3200? Thanks for the replies

Not much in them really. Comes down to personal preference and driving style.

The SS3200 has a higher STR so is a little less efficient but will feel tighter around town. It will also hit the tyres much harder than the 3000.

As for me, I never planbned to run slicks so I have something biased towards efficiency that hits the tyres softer but is not too flashy due to an overly low STR.

They're both great converters. No doubt. The crunch is that one is $200USD cheaper than the other. Sorry I can't TELL you what to do - that's a choice you will have to come to terms with.

Regards

I used to run the Yank Stealth 3200, It would hit the tire real hard. Had a hard time running consistant with it. I now run the Vig3200, It doesn't hit all at once. I purchased the Stealth 3200 when I was running a 2:73 rear. I would call Mike or Dave at Yank.
