Default 4L60E Vaccum Line?

Hey when I had the tranny out today I noticed that there was a long nipple on the top of the tranny that looked like a vaccum line was suppose to go there? Looks like it hasnt been on there for years. Let me know what this is or if it needs hooked up to something. Sorry tranny n00b.

It is a vent and should have a rubber line attached to keep dust and debris out. The tubing doesn't connect to anything else, it's just to keep some distance between inside and outside.
