Default Tranny temp?

I got a tranny temp gauge and wanted to know what temp is dangerous for a stock 4L60E? It will warm up a lot sitting in traffic in the summer but when is it time to pull over and let it cool down just to be safe?

tci's website has a graph- 190 or below is safe. 170 is optimal. hell- 220- isn't going to hurt anything right away but...

Oh crap, in summer traffic that thing will heat up to 200+ till I get cruising again. I really need to install the tranny cooler.

With a 24,000 GVW Cooler, I run ~165* on 90* days.
