What if I needed it without the tranny crossmember? And I have an M6 so how does the speedo sensor stuff work out? Thirdly, any specials on same thing but WITH a trans? Reverse manual vb and a TB.

a dipstick is not in this,
you have a few choices on that, and we use a LOCAR unit that is 42"l ong to allow removal of the trans with out fighting the dipstick bolts
we also use a new drive shaft (steel) and have the 1350 or stock joint in the rear, that is not in the kit price for an extra $280.00 (stock) to $340.00 (1350) u-joints
or you can get one made that is approx 3 3/4" longer than stock depending on the yoke you use, at a local driveline shop

Yank, does your crossmember work for a short or long tailshaft TH400, or does the length not have anything to do with the mounting location? I am going to convert from a T56, is there anything you guys offer to make the speedo work?

Also what size (8" or 10"?) and what stall (3500-4000?) converter would you recommend for a 575rwhp (probably 650rwtq) nitrous car?

Thanks

Ross

Our crossmember has a slot in the mounting plate for the trans mount and will work with the longer tail housing

we have made a custom reluctor ring that has the m-6 tooth count on it and a special mag. pickup assy that we have made for the TH400 for use with the m-6 also this will allow the speedo to work as normal. price is $230.00

on the converter 4000 stall in 8" will be faster (its lighter in weight) if you are a foot brake racer, and if a trans/brake is in the plans a 10" 4000 is the way to go for you

Thank you very much for the quick reply Yank! The trans will be equiped with a break so the 10" looks like the way to go.
