Default searched the forums but...

nothing gave me a clue for a repair. yesterday morning, starting off from a light, noticed some slipping in 1st, it caught and everything appeared fine.
a few minutes later, 1st ok, 2nd ok but wouldn't go into 3rd.
took it to a shop, no codes came up for the tranny, but somehow i lost reverse.
this morn, backed out of the drive without any problem, took it for a short 5 mile drive, all shifts seemed to be fine except, the normal lockup/unlockup of my tci streetfighter did not take place.
headed home, starting at a light, started out in 3rd, i manually shifted to 1st. the gear engaged and everything went back to normal [except for a slight slipping in high gear and no lockup/unlock]

so the question i pose is...for all guesses...
is the tc dead?
is there something else i should have a trans shop look at tomorrow?
maybe a big hammer...?

it COULD be your TC but I would guess that it's more likely a clutch pack (although that doesn't really explain reverse not working). It could also be a band.
