Default do i need a transgo to go w/ my TCI 3500

i have a 2000 T/A, do i need to put in a transgo when i put in the stall converter? i know they put them in the trucks.....

It's not totally necessary, but a good idea and will be of benefit.

I agree, not necessary but might as well do it while you are changing the TC.

Also agree, it's not necessary. But it's obvious that a 10 inch converter is not going to move fluid like the stocker. The Transgo compensates for this with revised shift valving, larger separator plate passages, and upgraded lock-up valve. The benefits are firm, perceptible shifts, increased fluid circulation, and solid TCC engagement. It is easier to do with the tranny out, so there's no better time than when you're installing the TC.

i recommend one as well. i put one in mine when i put in my tci ssf 4000.

I also put in a trans-go kit with a 3,200 stall. Dont forget a trans cooler. That I would do without question.

thanks for the imput, how long am i looking for the install? i mean as in the stall and the transgo...i put in the tranny cooler the other day, took all of about 15 minutes.

To R&R the trans a good 4 hours plus if you are doing it on your back. If you have a lift and power tools a little faster.
