Most converters only have 1 lockup clutch. Nick has a new prototype that has 5 clutches. Details will follow soon.

Hmmm...think that'd be able to hold up to abuse of keeping the converter locked at WOT? That's popular among the Turbo Buick guys to knock a few tenths off their ET.

i will also be running this converter- 5 disk multi clutch. i will be installing mine this weekend, recieved it last saturday- looks beautiful with billet front and all. i was told by kevin that it can definetly hold at wot locked up.

mine is 3800 2.5str (i think 2.5 at least maybe 2.3 or something). i would think kevin can make it to whatever specs you want.

don't be afraid to ask questions, kevin is one of the best and most professional people i've dealt with buying performance parts for my car.

i have had this converter in my car for 2 days now- instant solid lockup with no worries of burning out the tcc (which is too common on the smaller diameter high stall converters that everybody is running).

i would reccomend this to anybody, just think about not having to worry about frying the lockup clutch - a great feeling...
