I have had nothing but great performance from my TCI 4000 converter and support from TCI. I highly recommend them.

If you do a search you can find a zillion anecdotes about TCI, pro and con. Mine has only been in for a couple of months, but it has functioned perfectly from the get-go.

Even the bad converters problems you hear about dont offset the good things you hear about TCI , they have great customer service and in this market thats is what counts , and will do what it takes to make it right (kevin winstead) at TCI is the man to deal with and he is a great asset to tci and has sold alot of converters on this site because of him.. Not like one of the more expensive converter brands (yank) customer service you read about on this site.

TCI gets the job done. If you want to splurge you could get a Yank.

Well my TCI 4000 converter started acting up recently. It will not lock up any more. Not good seeing that it is in my daily driver. All is taken care of though. Called TCI and they are shipping me a new one. All I have to do is pay for labor and ship back the old one. Amazing customer service! TCI converters perform extremely well and have a great company to back them up.

I've had 3. My 01 had a 3500 in it. I liked it a lot until someone decided to run into it and totalled it. Then got a 99 with a 3200 already in it. I liked it too then decided to get a little crazy and upgrade to a 4400. Big thumbs up on TCI here.
