Default tranny woes

alright i have a problem with my still fairly new tranny. it doesnt do this all the time but maybe 3 to 4 times a week. it will quick shift through all the gears before it gets to 30 mph and no matter how much throttle i give it, it wont downshift to another gear. it will accelerate to 50 or 60 slowly before it will let me accelerate at a faster rate. (meaning if i floor it between 30 and 50 it wont accelerate any faster than just takin it easy.) if i let off it still wont let me get back on it and go any faster till it gets passed 50 or 60mph. i took it to don hall service center to get them to put it on their computer and see what it was and they said my throttle position sensor was bad. so i let them change it since they had one. on my way home it did it again twice. does anyone have any ideas about this crap???

Check out your throttle position sensor. If you have the means to take some logs of TPS when it's doing that. If it is a TPS problem be gentle until you get it fixed.

come on fellas, any thoughts at all on this. i have only had this tranny for 6 months and it has a 3 year warranty but the dealer is blowing it off and pussyfooting around dealing with the tranny. they dont want to replace it so they are finding other things i think to say is the problem.

you should drive it with a scanner on it and see if it is commanding downshifts, and go from there
