Default Need help picking a trans

Im getting my F-body soon and I'm split between which trans I want. I have driven a M6 and was alot of fun, but the it seems easier to get into the tens with an A4. Do any of you guys really regret getting the auto, and how bad is the Yank ss3600 for daily driving seriously. Thanks, Tim.

I say go with the auto. I had a problem with my auto for a while and had to shift it manually to prevent burning up the clutches. What a PITA. I know it isn't like shifting thru 6 speeds w/a clutch, but it got real old in town always having to shift 1-2-3....4

If you have a high stall and a shift kit an auto is every bit as fun as a manual.

If you are concerned with 1/4 mile times, GET AN AUTO! If you are going for tens you will either want a built 4L60E (when yours goes out) or a TH400 (if it's not a daily driver).

A Yank SS3600 would be very, very easy to drive everyday.

Edit: Another choice would be a 4L80E. I forget about it.
