Default Madman dipstick...need o-ring?

I matched up the dipstick for install and it's pretty loose. is there an o-ring or "sleeve" that goes around the end of the dipstick for when it enters into the tranny? Something to keep it tight? Thanks

They sell them in the "Help" section of the local parts store, this is assuming it is the stock type collar that sticks down into the dipstick tube...it is cheap, only $3 or $4 each.....
