what gains from changing 3,000 stall to 3,800
just wondering what kind of gains might be had by changing my converter from a 3,000 stall to say 3,800-4,000 stall.. Im trying to decide if i should change mine(would the gain be worth it.)
ps i will be getting a turbo and plan on making 500rwhp max. than im done hopefully

I definately don't think it would lose anything.. except for some traction! lol
I'm guessing you are running the stock gears correct? If so, I would recommend going with the 3800 stall and running a 3.42 gear. In my opinion, You don't want to run alot of gear if you are planning on going with a turbo kit. I think the 3800 & some 3.42's would pick it up a couple tenths with some traction.

Keep the converter, go the turbo. NA places different requirements on matching stall RPM and power. A turbo will likely reach near full boost by 3000RPM, right where you want your stall RPM. Just make sure you have traction.
