2001 Camaro Tranny Can someone tell me what transmission I have in my car? And what would be a good upgrade to this? I dont plan on doing any MAJOR engine work. The most HP I would shoot for is 450-500. (if that makes a difference in choice) Thanks

You car came with a 4L60E 4 speed automatic transmission. Unless there is a problem with the transmission I do not see any reason to upgrade/replace it.
Excessive heat is a major contributor to transmission failure so you might want to add a trans fluid cooler especially if you go with a high RPM stall converter.
