Default How to get the speedo to work on a T-350

Quote from kevredz in the t-400 faq
For the speedo:
Is the VSS Sensor GM#8655291 and the Relutor ring GM#8655315 compatible with all TH350/TH400 tailhousings? or is there certain tails that which they won't fit in?
Well the answer is no to that, those part numbers are not compatable on a 350 since i just tried them, the ring is accually too big, as well as the sensor. ANyone know what does work? A friend has a 350 setup that works but he doesnt know how its done since he bought it used and cant get ahold of the seller to ask. THanks

You need the reluctor ring off a 700R4. The VSS will work off the same trans but i'm not sure if it's electrically compatable.
In order to get it to fit you need a BOP Buick, Olds, Pontiac tailhousing with a 2" speedo hole.
A chevy th350 tail has a 3/4" hole.
