Default Which stall speed and gears are the best for me?

For a 1998 Camaro Z28, with several mods including full bolt-ons, 3.73 rear, torque arm, control arm, panhard bar, subframe connector, HPtuner, and radials. Don't feel like a cam yet due to gas mileage. What stall speed is the best for gas mileage, drivability and ET? I've been told 3000 is the lowest I should go, lower typiclly means better MPG so i would prefer lower. So whats your opinion. advice? I'm thinking that a 3000 stall is good to bring my gas mileage down 2-3 MPG. I don't know if that MPG esimate is acurate though. I also read that someone got a 3600 stall and was mad that they didn't get a 4000 because the 3600 was too much like stock, but that was a trans am too. Please give me any advice, along with a stall speed, and the gas mileage my car will go down around the city.

I was also thinking maybe a 3800-4000 stall, and a 4.10, what gas mileage and drivabily you think that'll give?

OMG a 3800-4000 stall + 4.10's would give you HORRIBLE gas mileage. But it would be fast as he!!

For stock internals I would say get a 3400-3600 stall with a 2.5 STR and keep your 3.73's. That will give you a big kick in the pants, keep the loose feeling somewhat under control and not totally destroy your gas mileage around town.

Good luck
