Question Tranny temp gauge hookup?

Where is the easiest wire to hook into that has power with the ignition on? I have my tranny temp mounted in the vent above the radio closest to the steering wheel. I have it hooked to the cig. lighter now so its got power all the time, correct? I just want it powered w/ the ignition on. Any help would be great.

Just run a wire over to the fuse box on the side of the dash (driver's side). Crimp on a male blade connector and there is an open IGN port on the lower left side. Just plug it in right there and you're set. No splicing any existing wiring or anything. Can't go wrong.
