Default Upgrading trans lines with t-400?

For those of you that have a t-400 in their LS1, did you get bigger trans lines to go wtih it? My buddy that is doing my conversion has one in hi]s, and his runs a bit hot even with a large trans cooler. He was mentioning he will upgrade his trans lines that should make it run cooler. Is this the answer, or is there anything else? He is using a 25,000 cooler, but I have a 30,000 cooler. Hopefully that can keep it cool..

I just used my stock lines when I did mine. I beleive everybody else has done the same. I think the only thing I might have done differently is to install a quick-disconnect type of line. That would be nice.

We replaced our OE lines with High Temp/pressure silicon lines and -6 AN fittings on either end. We used adapters on the trans for the 1/4 NPT threads and fittings on the 1/2 NPT threads of our B&M cooler. Runs fine and cool ... unless you hot lap it while using the Transbrake.
