Default 4wd tranny
i just bought a 2001 escalade 6.0 with a 4wd 4l60e and transfer case. can i just pull off the transfer case and install a 2wd tailshaft or do i need a different tranny if so what my tranny worth (58k miles) thanx joel

Nope, you have to pull the pump out and almost every internal part to get to the tailshaft to change it.
