Default broken bolts in flywheel

i have a 99 transam ram air my torque converter bolts keep breaking my mechanic says it was a warped flywheel or bad converter but while the bolts are broken the car still drives fine just make a noise when you first start it. so i wanna no if he is just crazy or if that could be ?? please respond asap PLEASE!!!!!!! Thanks ....

Are you sure the bolts are broken? it is not uncommon for a stock auto flywheel ring gear to crack between bolt holes, will make noise upon startup like you describe, but would recommend you replace with aftermarket unit with ARP bolts

My Flexplate broke. The car is in the shop now getting a new TCI Flexplate, TCI 3500 TC, B&M Trans Cooler and Transgo shift kit.
