Transmission Cooler Mounting
I've got b&m cooler and Im a little concerned how about running the zip ties through the radiator. Im worried about getting leaks in the radiator. Has anyone had any problems with this or found a different way to do it?

I wouldn't worry about leaks. I have run small bolts through radiator fins (it was brass/copper though) to mount a trans cooler with no problems. Radiators are pretty durable.

I am plan on putting in a disc supercharger later on, do I have to worry about placement of the cooler, due to say something like the trans cooler getting in the way of the intercooler?

I have mounted tranny coolers to the rad with the thru the rad 'zip ties' that they supply and exactly what you are talking about happened - the cooler ties either relaxed or loosened up due to vibration and the barbs on the zip ties wore a hole thru one of the rad tubes it was resting on. The metal that makes up the tubes is VERY thin (has to be for good heat transfer).
I mounted my tranny cooler with custom brackets behind the front fascia on PS, directly in the path of the bottom cutout opening under the parking lights on my T/A - that way it receives a good flow of cool air and does not interfere with rad air flow, or soak up heat from rad due to proximity. My Mocal Oil Cooler is mounted in the same manner on the DS (this was possible because I have my A.I.R. deleted and there is no longer an air pump on that side - otherwise the oil cooler wouldn't have fit).
If you buy yourself some 1/8 thick aluminum angle and 1/4" thick x 1" wide bar stock you can fabricate brackets easily once you look under car and decide your mounting points. I used existing bolts/studs that were in the area for mounting points.

Thats exactly the kind of thing that I was worried about. Something similar happened to me a few years ago while installing aftermarket fans (that called for pushing zip ties through the radiator) on an old 5.0 mustang. Thanks Jay I may just do that.
