Default How much power can a 4l80e handle?

Having my 4l60e built as we speak. Still not to confident in it. Wanted to know the major differences between mine and the 80e. If i have an 80e built as strong as possible how much power will it stand? Ive heard its as strong as a th400. Is this true?

What kind of build did he have on it? Just a shift kit or something more?
