I`m getting ready to build the 700R4 for my 65 chevelle. Someone told me to run a LT1 converter because they are about 2800rpm stall. Is this correct? I called a tranny shop and all they could tell me is that there are a bunch of different converters and he needed a code off of one. I don`t want to spend alot of money for a high dollar converter since my motor is pretty mild but it does need a converter. Any info would be great. Thanks.
