Default Driveline cause any other problems?

I was just wondering if you have a drive line out of balance or bad u joints that caused a driveline vibration at high speeds could cause other problems such as bearing failure in an engine or damage tranny components, main concern being the engine though.

Won't hurt the engine, but may cause an issue with the output shaft on the tranny. I had one that was out a little bit and never caused any damage to either tranny or engine. I just bought a different driveshaft and that fixed the problem.
