do these times seem right ?
Took My Car To The Track For The First Time This Year Since The Head And Cam Swap. With The Mods Listed In My Sig My Car Went
60ft=1.8632
330ft=5.3063
1/8 Et=8.1641
1/8 Mph=86.24
1000ft=10.6521
1/4 Et=12.7691
1/4 Mph=106.64
Do These Times See On With The Mods I Have Done? Seems Like I Should Be Running Faster. Any Ideas? Other 4 Runs Were Very Consistent With These Times Also

I would say it should run faster, was it hot out? what was the elevation? Did you get a tune after the heads/cam?
Your mph is low, did you have the pedal all the way to floor? j/k

you should be alot faster than that, elevation and heat would cause you to run slower than someone at sea level. I would guess that you should be low 12's-high 11's with thoes mods..

elevation is whatever it is here in michigan , not that high. yes it was tuned by wheel to wheel powertrain after the head/cam. it was about 75 degrees that day.

Whats your hp and torque numbers? I am actually in the same situation (even worse times though), im running about a 13.5 at 106 mph, but im on street tires and the best 60ft i can get is a 2.3 with this florida heat. I am also trying to figure out why I am trapping so low. I am starting to think I started out with a 14.5 second car, because the car feels much much faster than it did stock. Maybe my tranny is going too and I just don't know it.

Your tune is wacked. Check your shift points, I would log your runs & keep adjusting it until there right. Also make sure your not getting any false knock & being put in the low octane table. 98's sometimes have that issue (mine did), Before I swap my sensor's out for the new type I copied the high octane table into the low. When you got it tuned what AFR did they tune it to & is your TM still active? You should be in the 11's with a good 60', definitly with AFR205's.

I went 11.90@112 cam only/w a bad tune. First of all, scrap those tires. Get yourself a set of M/T drag radials and shave 2-4 tenths off right there. I have a 224 cam with the same size converter and was cutting 1.63's all day long. With no suspension/chassis stiffening. My mods were, lid and filter, pulley, TR 224 cam, LT's, ORY, LM exhaust, M/T drag radials thats it!

yeah, what everyone else said.....when i had a stock stall i went 12.5 at 112 with a 1.89 60ft.....at milan, mi......when it was 85+ and humid.......with stock internals and stock intake and no tuning.......i'd want to be at least mid 11s if i were you.....i would think it would be pretty obvious if the trans wasn't doing it's job if you're running those times with those mods
