Default Yank 3200 Installed My Impression

Had Vinci High Performance in Orlando Do The installation. My car is a 2002 Blk WS6 I still wanted to conserve some gas cause I need my car to go to work.As far as performance Excellent. I have Vinci handheld Programmer with Firmshift right into it and do not need a shift kit, line pressure is good now with the programmer .no slippage.Watch out when you floor at around 30mph. I did, so much torque and power, I am very satisfied with this stall. I also have Nitto 555r great hook up no spinning issues I know I can get into the 12's Now. My gears are 3.23

I ran the same converter on my car for 3 years and loved it. I ran a 12.97 with it bone stock except for Nitto DR's. I cut 1.80 60-fts all day long with it.

my vig 3200/gears killed my gas, i went from 250 a tank to 150 city only, and about 200 with city and highway. it sucks, but I am dealing with it.

No way in hell a converter should be eating that much gas unless you're driving around at 20 mph everywhere or going WOT all the time.

i am only driving around town at 20-30, stop and go, stop and go, I am about to buy another car for a daily driver, its starting to **** me off, I really dont want to take my stall off and a M6 is out of the question, my left foot would be unhappy in this crap too.

Do you have the Nitto 555 drag radials or street tires? I just installed a SS3200 and some kooks LT's and I can't hook at all and rolling into the throttle sucks. I'm running the Nitto 555 street tires and I've done a little rear suspension work. I'm going to get the Mickey Thompson drag radials next week.

I also really like the 3200 converter so far (I'm using 3.23's also). I haven't done any tuning and I haven't had any problems with torque management. I have a 2001 which is supposed to have larger issues with TM then previous years.

I choose the SS3200 because I wanted the lower STR so the car would hook up a little easier and I took the lower stall to make it drivable with the lower STR. I got the perfect converter for my goals, a stout street car. It's not much looser then stock, it's loosness is only noticible in my car only due to how loud my exhaust is. At the same time its cool though when your cruising at low throttle and you hear the exhaust come to life.

The only time I wish I would've went up in stall speed is when I nail it at a high speed roll, but there are trade offs for every converter and that's the only one I have. Overall I'm very satisfied with the converter and Yank was great to deal with, excellent customer service and a quality product. Worth every penny.

Yea I am running Nitto 555R Drag Radials in rear. The Yank SS 3200 Is Great when you take off. I have no traction issues with the Nittos. I had Vinci High Performance in Orlando Install it, They Replaced my fluid, filter and cleaned out the tranny, I get really firm shifts now with their Hand held programmer I bought, I also am another satisfied Yank Customer, I am like you, At High speeds I wish I would have gone bigger, but that will come with a Cam. Also with the smaller diamater compared to stock converter, my Loud Mouth exhaust has a great tone.

I get better gas milege than that granted about 220 at best right now. It should improve with a better tune .Before the H/C I got about 270-280 and thats with about 90% city.
