can i use a 4l60e that i think is from a obdI car in a obdII car

No. The input shaft is different for sure. I would think there are differences with the electronic also. Better to find the right tranny than to try to make something work.

well i was thinking about getting a differnet computer if it wouldnt work.

alright here is the full story.....i have a 64 nova that i am putting a lt1 from a 95 vette into it and i have the chance to get a built up 4l60e from i think a 94 t/a but my motor is a obdII and his is a obdI i was thinkning about getting a different computer for the car but i dont know if i would be able to do that either i need help!!
