tranny hits rev even in drive

tranny hits rev even in drive i recently installed 3.73s and when i am on it the car hits the rev limiter from 2nd to 3rd gear. it didn't do it before the gears what could be the problem.

You can pick up a used handheld in the for sale section pretty cheap if that's all you want to do. You see them down there for 100-150. If you have or plan to do more mods in the future then make sure you go somewhere that has free upgrades or it will kill you price wise in the long run.
