Question Fuddle 3600 Install Today??

Well i got my fuddle 3600 installed today and i drove it home then took it down the road to check her out i got 1 mile down the road when disaster struck the top tranny line came off and i painted the road red with tranny fluid i shut her down and went and got 1 of those new little c clamp thingys that goes up there to hold the line upon that the old 1 was still there do u think i didnt have the line all the way in from the git go and it blew off???? or is something else wrong here???? i got the line back in with the new clamp but now im afraid to drive her. I let it idle in my drive for about 20 min after but afraid to leave the drive. am i just being paranoid or is something wrong i also added a 24000 cooler to it to. it was shifting fine and everything and was a beast until this theres only 43000 miles on it and i baby it other than 1 thursday a month at the strip. im hoping its just that i didnt have the line snug from the git go. please post up i know jack bout auto tranny.

Sorry, I dont know the answer to your question. But please give updates on the converter when you do drive it again. I just ordered a Fuddle 3600 yesterday.

yeah, it sounds like you did not have the E clip on there to begin with... they are annoying anyway, in my opinion. did you install the clip before pushing the line into the tranny? also, when installing the clip you are supposed to put one "ear" in first then slide it around so that the 2nd, then 3rd ear goes in (not trying to push the clip on all at once).

It has happened to me before. Recheck all your lines to make sure you have them hooked up correctly. Then use worm clamps and not the factory style bands. Just make sure you don't over tighten the clamps or you will cut the line. The cooler will be hot when you touch it. Get you a tranny temp guage from Autometer. It is very easy to install and it will give you a piece of mind.

My B&M would get real hot, that's why I did this-

But I also have a truck with my TCI 3500 and people drive slower than my lock-up point. I said forget it and did this, now I don't have a worry in th world about my trans temps.

I would get a guage to put in as well. I did some tuning on the street the day before I went to the track (Bouncing off rev. limiter) and it got to 200-210. So, knowing that, I let her sit for awhile before re-testing. ~58 bucks and an hours time is well worth it.
