What tires are you running. My car slowed down on street tires but with the ET Streets I'm hoping to do better.

what was your 60' & MPH? track conditions?

Tires are the likely culprit if you are mechanically fine.

those 3.73'z and that stall (wats you str? i think its up in th 2.0ish)...

you'll need a good set of drag radials at least. With et streets, you'll see where the gains for sure. I would also, if you havent already, get a set of LCA's at least, the wheel hop will kill that stock 10 bolt.

good luck!!

Like some people have said tires are a big issue. You are not getting a good jump out of the hole. If you ran some ET streets you will be getting way better times atlest low 13s to high 12s. When I use to go to the track with street tires and the stall i just would spin the tires like crazy off the line and one time the car did fishtails down the track our cars just dont work as well on street tires thats why i only run with some type of sticky tire.

You need to learn to launch without excess wheelspin.

And/or get sticky tires to get a really good launch. With nothing but headers, duals, lid, 3500 stall and ET streets (no tune) I cut 1.72-1.75 60's. A 2.23 kinda, well, SUCKS. Stock that wouldn't be good, let alone with a converter. Try drag radials or ET streets, removing as much weight as possible and pull the front sway bar.

Just focus on tires. The suspension is not your problem.

Put on a set of drag radials or maybe 10.5" ET streets and you'll run 12s.

When you are ready to purchase your built trans talk with the guy who will be building it for you and let him know what you will do with the car and yall can decide from there.
