4l80e is the way to go, or Th400, or PowerGlide

Do a search on "Rossler" transmissions. Thats what Im using in my 408ci setup & it should be close to 500hp on the motor & over 600hp on the jug. Rossler is the trans thats in the lingenfelter TT vettes.

I had my TH400 RMVB built for about $1,400. It would have cost me about $2,500 to get my 4L60E rebuilt to the level I wanted.

i love my r.m.v.b. 400... but i have a 4.10 gear w/ 28" tires and 67-68mph is the max at a comfortable cruising speed. 3,500 rpm.
