help!!! I just got a 94 trans am in aug. and my trans is sliping in drive but when i put it in 2nd it runs fine what could that be i dont no if i need a new trans i just thought i might ask before i take it in.

Sounds like a tranny problem; but I am no mechanic. I have gotten 4 different opinions about my car because it is not switching well at the track and they all say I need a new tranny. Sounds like that is what is happening to you.
