Is tuning required after upgrading converter?
I am looking at getting a Fuddle 3500 verter for my 98 A4. The car is pretty much stock except for an airlid, exhaust cutout, and 17" rims. It runs great right now. I am wondering if I will need to get it tuned after installing a new verter. Thanks.

Kind gonna hijack this one but, I am going with like a 2800 or so, will i need a tune really badly? It wont see the track untill after the cam and tune but i wanna go stall first. It will see highway driving tho.

artic, you can get away without a tune in most cases but your gonna want one beacouse the car will shift sloppy as hell and you might have revlimiter probs along with some knock retard issues but even with all 3 you still could drive it it just wont perform 100% GT a 2800 stall is a complete waste of time if your worried about a loose verter just geto one with a low str not a low stall , hwy driving should be fine but in some cases people have reported lock up problems.... in my paticular case mine shifed really sloppy, banged the limiter in 2nd and 3rd and the lock up function was really slow but a good tune by jimmyblue fixed it all
