dumb question but how do you know its the converter and not the trans... As for as b&m goes i dont think they make a converter for the 4l60e. If your converter is trully bad replace it with an aftermarket one(dont go replace it with a stock one). There are several good companies fuddle, tci, yank, vig etc. Most are board sponsors just look to your right.

B&M does make one for my car tranny, and i know its the converter, and a yank is like 600 bucks, im not able to spend that right now, i can get that b&m for 235 and should be an all around good converter and tcis are about 400.

ok i re-looked at the b&m site and did see a holeshot converter for the 4l60e. Dont waste your money on that one, they only have 2,400 stall. Look into fuddle racing for a good converter at a good price. I just bought a fuddle 3,800 stall and will be swaping out my midwest 3,000.. I could sell you my midwest for 250 shipped and it would be much better than the b&m you are looking at. Only reason i changed converters is that im putting a turbo on the car next spring and want a converter to handle it as well as a little more stall speed than what i have now... Let me know, and what is your location... ps my new fuddle was 400.00 also. oh and the midwest i went from 13.4-13.5 down to 13.0 with the converter and bad traction.
