Default stock trans with stall

I was wondering if my stock trans with about 51,000 miles on it would be alright for a 3000-3500 stall.

sorry if i'm hijacking, but how long should you expect a stalled A4 to manage, given it has a cooler and never overheats?

I have been stalled for 50,000 miles and still using the original transmission. Heat control is key.

As far as asking how long the stock trans will last, can not be answered. If you don't have any heavy mods it could last some time, but you have heavy mods it will eventually go. Keep the thing cool. I blew my stock trans with a 3500 stall, about 5 months after I put the stall in.

And ... no better time to install a Transgo shift kit if you're so inclined.
