Default TH350 Speedo Cable...will it leak?

Finishing up tomorrow the conversion, and not sure WTF to do with the speedo cable hole, I dont have a converter from cable to VSS, or the reluctor ring setup yet, so its open. Will it leak or no? Havent messed with these old 3spds in long time. Thanks.

It'll leak. Take an old speedo sleeve and gear and put it in there. Or just a sleeve with the hole filled with silicone.

Well, I capped it off using a 3/4" PVC Cap, which I filed the internal threads down some and then swedged it on and cut a few new threads. Aint leaking any, so far!
