Default Anyone Running a TCS Converter?

OK boys and girls, I am about to take my swing at the fastest cam only list and see what I can do. I am going to a 4400-4800 stall from a Yank SS4000. I was gonna get a Yank PT4400 but I am now exploring other options since I don't plan on skimping anywhere. This is NOT a daily driver, but will see a good amount of street time. My goal is 11.20 with 4.11s, 28" ET Street, and the new converter.

Thanks, and please only those that have a TCS, Yank PT4400, or another big dog converter. No Fuddle, TCI, or something of that nature unless they have some product I don't know about. Thanks!

I don't know if you have heard of our HP series of converters. Our HP/Race is built as a race-style converter with 6bolt mounting, a 48 sq.in. unsprung clutch, fully brazed fins, a very strong heavily modified stator and will handle anything you throw at it. The HP/Street is simply built to be the best street converter available. It is basically a race converter breathed on to fit street demands. The clutch is still massive at 43 sq.in., which is bigger than most companies' biggest race clutches. A great billet cover that while it only uses 3 mounting lugs will take huge power. Of course, it uses brazed fins, our heavy duty stator and will basically handle more power than even the baddest 4l60's out there. These converters are not built as budget converters but will save you considerable money without any sacrifice in power handling. I hope this helps, and if I can answer any questions, please feel free to ask.

Hard to go wrong with the Yank YPT 4200/4400.

Which TCS are you referring to? There was a TCS in Maryland that went out of business and I know there are other TCS's out there, just don't remember where they are from.

Here is a link to TCS they build converters and parts for most of the other converter companys out there.
it is a good product but the extra weight of the cover and large clutch slows down the converters spool up time and this slows your 60 ft. times

http://www.tcsperformance.com/ls1converter/

Also coming in Nov.will be our new product line of converters geared to the max. performance buff, at a super low intro pricing.

Good luck with your choice.

Right now I am speaking with Yank and Fuddle. Very impressive items from both companies, but I am still undecided. Thanks to Mike and Dave at Yank as well as Fuddle Racing for their FAST response to my thread.
