how would you go about hookin it up with a factory car?

Mount the gauge in an "A" pilar mount or in the console. There is an 1/8" NPT port above the shift cable connector on the drivers' side of the transmission housing. Install the temperature sender there & run the wire to the gauge through the console. Hook 12v. power & ground to the gauge light from the dimmer switch or you can tie into any dimmed power wire. I chose the wire that sends power to the shift position indicator light in the shift column. Good-luck.

when you buy a trans temp gauge does it come with the thang that screws in the tranny?

I got mine from Autometer. Ultralite Series. Yes, it came in this guage kit. Basically, you need wire, misc' electrical connectors, soldering iron, tape, and patience. Take your time, read some posts on installs, and have at it. I don' t like doing electrical stuff, but, this wasn' t that bad

thanx man i really needed that i dono when im goin to install one but i do need one know how fast the 60e like to get hot and break thanx again
