trans temp gauge worth it?
i have a fuddle 3600 stall and just installed a b&m 24,000 trans cooler, is it worth it to go ahead and put in a trans temp gauge? i tried searching but the search function isnt working right now. where is the most common spot to put the gauge? any comments would be appreciated.

You're pretty close. It all depends on how big the stall is. When I was running my 3600 I saw temps of 160-180 in the city and 130-150 on the highway. Then when I bumped up to a 4200 my temps shot up to 180-210 in city and 150-170 on the highway.
Btw this is for spring/summer conditions. They drop when it gets into fall and winter.

dino-at first i thought the stall was going to be too big, but ive changed my mind. i really like it. i have the rumbler exhaust on their which only has a resonator so i am going to put a hooker muffler in, just because its a little loud driving in the city at ~2200 rpms. i love how it responds when i mash the pedal, what a great car.
tonner-im glad you showed that to me. thats an awesome idea you had and looks like a great product. how will i know how many different measurements my car will display? i really like the fact that it shows two at a time, it would be really helpful to have engine water temp and trans fluid temp at the same time. so all you have to do is plug it up to the obd II connector and hook it up to a power source? that seems almost too easy. i think this would make a great christmas present for me.

That looks pretty interesting. It also says on there, that they have a special SS, Z28,and GTO versions but they only have them through Dec. then they are discontinued. Wish I would have seen this before, I just picked up a stall as well.
