Default B&M 28,000 GVW fittings.

I've bought a B&M 28,000 GVW oil cooler to keep the tranny temps down. It ships with no fittings. Anybody happen to know the exact type fittings I need to look for? They're 1/2" but is there a specific name for the type of fitting and what size is the hose connector side if the 1/2" fitting? Hopefully it will mount like the 19,000> between the radiator and condensor. Anybody know?

From Jeg's:

NOTE:
(1) Racing model doesn’t include installation components and has female 1/2 NPT fittings. Can also be used as an engine oil cooler. Note: GVW stands for Gross Vehicle Weight (total loaded weight of vehicle including trailers or towed vehicles).
(2) A compact but highly efficient version of the race cooler. Does not include installation kit.

I think maybe you'd want some 1/2" NPT male to flare
fitting females, and do it all in hard line. But you can
probably get by with barb & hose. I once dated a
woman named Barb. Heh.

Surely you can buy them from B&M ??? I'll call them and see if that's the case or not. If not, I'll def pick them up from JEG's. Thanks JimmyBlue.

NPT to hose barb, you can get at Home Depot;
NPT to flare probably at any AutoZone or NAPA
type parts store. Just depends on what you want
the in-between plumbing to be made of, rubber
or hard line.

Is it possible to buy one with too much GVW? Just curious as I will be in the market for one soon.
