Question Crossmembers: TH350/Power glide=same?

Would the trans crossmember you would use to mount a TH350 in a 4th Gen. the same as one to install a Power Glide into one?

th350 th200 and powerglide would all use the same location for mount but remmber a glide is not recommended for a car more than 2800-3000 lbs

DAD

big motor+ glide + HUGE converter + EVEN BIGGER gear = hold on to your ***, thats the old school way

because the added advantage of a lower first gear, 2.48 or 2.52 instead of the the 1.64-2.02 first gear of a powerglide out weights the disadvatage that comes from the added weight of the 350/400/200 trans, you can use a glide but for optimum performance a three speed would be better
