Default highest holding 4L60E ???

I know this may have already been asked ,but search didnt really find anything. Who sells the highest horsepower holding 4l60E ? I am building a 408 with a 350 shot and wondered what was available and if anyone has good or bad experience with what they got. Thanks for the help

check out cablebandit and ask him, think his trans was a rock on and held over 700 to the wheels

Dave from Rock-On said he had a 4L60 in 1000 h.p. Trans Am thats lasted like 40 plus runs at the track, thought that was pretty good.

i still use a 4l60e 446 rwhp daily driven i think they can handle 500rear wheel without too much work

My rossler 4l60e is behind my 408 with a tnt 200 shot. It put down 620hp with the converter unlocked. Havent had any problems with it yet.

I agree with the 4L80 idea. If you blow another tranny, you will end up spending the same total amount for your next replacement. Nitrous is hard on trannies because of the hit.

can you just plug in a 4l80e into a 98 pcm and harness? If not than its got to be a 4l60E
