Rebuilding My 4L60E A friend of mine and myself are getting ready to build the 4L60E in my Camaro. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on where to get the rebuild kit. I have looked at the Pro-Built kit which seems very complete but is also pretty high dollar too. I also was looking at the TCI rebuild kit which has a very resonable price but not sure if it will be strong enough. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

i built mine with the red alto red frictions and steel with the z-pack for the 3-4 clutches. i got them through ebay off oregan transmission parts. also upgrade the input sprag with a heavy duty one n get all new seals n bushings. also got both 5 pinion planets everything was about 600 buck with fast delivery. i hope u have build a tranny before because if u miss something u have to tear it down all over again. good luck. remember dont go cheap even with a budget its better to do things right the first time

Justin I just finished up my tranny with all the good stuff so just get up with me one weekend,I dont no or trust anyone to build a good tranny in our neck of the woods.
